SEAC-71
CETS takes part in SEAC-71
CETS participated in the 71st meeting of the Committee for Socio-Economic Analysis (SEAC-71), represented by Marco Passeri, contributing as an accredited stakeholder to discussions of strategic importance for the European surface treatment sector.
The meeting addressed the restriction proposal on the use of certain chromium(VI) oxides, oxyacids and salts, with reference to the agreement of the SEAC draft opinion, as well as the update on the Universal per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (UPFAS) restriction proposal following the consultation on the SEAC draft opinion.
CETS’ participation supports the development of sectoral assessments based on technical feasibility, socio-economic evidence and a realistic understanding of industrial processes, confirming its role as a common European voice for the surface treatment industry.
