In 2019 the Dutch Industrial Surface Treatment Association (Vereniging ION) took the initiative to inventory and validate the measures of substances with possible health risks in case of misuse at the branch level. Most of these substances are intermediates and are used almost exclusively in a closed process by professionals. To minimize health risks we advice to avoid exposure to SVHC and CMR substances if possible and we are always looking for new ways to make the risks even smaller.
